PARTIES and events now have a new spot in town as Sauchie Juniors unveil their brand-new hospitality suite.
The club have worked extensively to open a new function suite, aiming to host paid hospitality days during home games.
In addition to the football, the space will also be able to host birthday parties, weddings, concerts and shows, with the capability to hold around 100 guests.
The project has been overseen by Gus Rennie, the commercial manager for Sauchie Juniors, who explained that the club is keen to put the hospitality suite to good use.
“The hospitality suite is pretty brand new,” Gus said. “It is a beautiful suite which hosts 100 people.
“There’s a section for a band and DJ, disabled and wheelchair access, a fully-functioning bar and kitchen for caterers.
“This is a completely new space. The committee got the building and all the chairs together.
“We’ve already got a tribute band function planned which has already sold 60 seats, we’re looking to do a Christmas party in December and we’re planning more hospitality days during home games.
“We’re looking to secure a new caterer and from there, we’ll be able to fully push the hospitality suite.”
While providing a space for the community to use and thrive in, the hospitality events will also work to provide income for the club.
Clubs throughout Scottish football struggle financially, with Sauchie looking to maintain financial stability with cashflow from the booked events.
Gus added: “The drive behind this was to generate income for the club as the club needs income to survive.
“Clubs at this level struggle each month to survive and without local companies and local people helping, we might not survive.
“Sauchie Juniors has the academy set up, girls sections and elderly set up which is fantastic for mental health in the village and the hospitality suite is to generate some much needed cash for the club to keep it financially stable.”
The hospitality suite, dubbed the Ochil Suite, will offer football packages during home games this season, costing £55 per person plus a £20 deposit.
Anyone wishing to book out the suite should contact Gus Rennie on 07485 040033 or reach out to Sauchie Juniors on Facebook or X.
