QUINN COULSON has signed for Arbroath, confirming his departure from Alloa Athletic this summer.
Before being announced as signing for the Red Lichties, Coulson was the only outstanding member of last year’s squad yet to pen a new contract.
Andy Graham had offered the 20-year-old a contract, but photos emerged that showed he had been training with Hamilton Academical in the Championship.
Now, Arbroath have confirmed that Coulson has signed for the newly relegated side, announcing his arrival at Gayfield on Friday, June 26.
“Quinn is in,” it said. “We are delighted to announce the signing of 20-year-old winger Quinn Coulson on a two-year contract pending SFA approval.”
Coulson signed for Alloa two seasons ago under Brian Rice, coming in from Raith Rovers.
He went on to make 37 appearances for Alloa last season, scoring three goals against Stirling in the League Cup, Cove Rangers just before Christmas and Hamilton in the second leg of the playoff semi final.
He made his debut for Arbroath in their final League Cup group stage game against Bonnyrigg Rose, a 1-0 win for his new side.
