TERI-LOUISE DEEGAN is aiming to use her experience to help propel Alloa up the leagues after signing for the club.
Deegan was brought in by Allan Milne following an impressive spell at Airdrie, which saw her feature in the League One Team of the Year.
Having already spent time at Falkirk, the striker aims to bring some firepower to the Wasps for the upcoming season.
“I’m enjoying being at Alloa,” Deegan said.
“In the short time I’ve been here I’ve been impressed with the standards.
“There’s a level of expectation from the coaching staff and I’m enjoying that, the ambition is refreshing.
“The facilities are fantastic and it’s a good place to be right now. It’s a good group who, I think, will go on to gel and perform well this season.”
Deegan becomes one of Milne’s summer signings as he continues his preparations for the upcoming season.
She joins Aimee Lenathen as coming to Alloa at the same time, with the club finishing up pre-season before embarking on the league campaign in a couple weeks time.
Deegan added: “I knew Alloa was right for me because it was the right challenge for me at the right time.
“I could tell the club was hungry for success and to climb tables. I think I can bring something to the table to aid that.
“It’s a different sort of role for me bringing experience and some responsibility in amongst a younger squad but I think that’s really suited to me at this stage and I felt I could come and play some good football here.”
