ANDY GRAHAM hailed the efforts of two Alloa stalwarts as they both marked personal milestones against East Fife.
Scott Taggart and Stefan Scougall both hit their 500th and 400th career appearances against the League Two outfit last Tuesday.
The pair both started Alloa’s opening League Cup group stage campaign game against the Fifers, coming away with a 0-0 draw.
While Scougall had been taken off, Taggart remained to slot away Alloa’s first penalty during the shootout.
He was joined by four teammates as the team pulled off a perfect shootout to claim the bonus point.
Afterwards, Graham was full of praise for the two, delighted for them to reach such an impressive milestone.
He said: “You’ve got to give a lot of credit to Scott Taggart and Stefan Scougall – 500 appearances and 400 appearances respectively.
“I think that’s absolutely fantastic and it’s testament to them as professionals, that’s another one for them to mark off.
“I’m delighted for them to sign that off with getting the bonus point but credit to them.”
