FRASER DUNCAN has his eye on two more players to add to his squad ahead of the East of Scotland League starting.
The Sauchie boss has already managed to nail down many of last year’s squad while also adding new players to the roster.
Now, he has provided an update on his squad ahead of the season restarting, admitting he is still after two players to round out their numbers.
Speaking with the club, Duncan said: “At the moment, we have had a discussion with the management team, we are speaking to one other player.
“If that one other player does come in, then that will be us good to go. If he doesn’t and decides to go elsewhere then we will run with what we have got.
“There is a player who is at another club at the moment who we’re hoping to get a deal done with but that all just depends on the finances of the deal.
“These two players would give us a really strong squad of 23 for the season.”
Sauchie have lined up a strong selection of pre-season friendlies for fans to enjoy throughout July, including a big clash with neighbours Stirling Albion.
Friendlies will carry on throughout July, before the league recommences towards the end of the month.
Fixtures for the East of Scotland Premier Division have not been released yet, but fans can expect them to be revealed soon.
