ANDY GRAHAM has brought back another familiar face to the Recs as he makes his second summer signing.

Calum Waters has signed for the Wasps for the upcoming season, making a return after his impressive one season spell in 2016-17.

The left back has been brought in after spending a season in the Championship with Greenock Morton as manager Graham looks to add to his back line.

Since leaving Alloa, Waters has gone on to play for Kilmarnock, Sligo Rovers and St Mirren on loan before spending a year with Morton.

Waters’ return was announced via the club website, with a statement reading: “We’re pleased to welcome back Calum Waters who last played for the club in 2016-17 before going on to have spells with Kilmarnock, Sligo Rovers, St Mirren and Greenock Morton.

“Left back Calum, now 28, made 51 appearances and scored three goals as Alloa narrowly missed out on promotion in his only season at the Wasps but made a lasting impression in his time at Alloa.”

Waters becomes Graham’s second summer signing, the first being Neil Parry who was announced as a player/coach last month.
