THE fixture list for Alloa’s Premier Sports Cup campaign has now been set.

As reported by the Advertiser on Wednesday, the Wasps were drawn into group F alongside East Fife, St Johnstone, Greenock Morton and Brechin City.

Now, the match schedule has been revealed by the SPFL, giving both fans and Andy Graham a chance to prepare for the first competitive games of the season.

Alloa will kick off their 2024-25 season with the visit of League Two side East Fife, set for Tuesday, July 16 at 7.45pm at the Indodrill Stadium.

They will follow this up with a visit to Angus to take on Highland League runners up Brechin City on Saturday, July 20 at 3pm.

Premiership outfit St Johnstone will visit the Recs on the evening of Tuesday, July 23 at 7.45pm, setting up a possible reunion with last season’s loan wonder Taylor Steven.

Lastly, the Wasps will round off their Premier Sports Cup campaign with a visit to Greenock Morton on Saturday, July 27 at 3pm.

None of Alloa’s Premier Sports Cup matches have been selected for TV showing.

Should Graham's men progress from the group stage as winners or one of the three best runners-up, they will be put into the draw for the second round which would take place on the weekend of August 17/18.
