CONNOR WILLAGHAN has signed a contract extension with Sauchie Juniors.
The defender will now be remaining at Beechwood for the 2024-25 season, as manager Fraser Duncan continues with his rebuild of the squad.
The club announced on their social media that Willaghan has put pen to paper for his new deal, with Sauchie delighted to get the deal done.
Duncan said: “Delighted to get Connor over the line.
“It’s been in discussion for a while now and Connor’s had a good season again, he’s been superb for us and he commands up and down that right channel.
“He’s a big part of the squad going forward.”
As reported by the Advertiser, Duncan has been busy over the last few months choosing his squad for next season.
The gaffer has already picked out several key players for new deals, including Mark Smith who was confirmed last February.
At the start of April, the club managed to make up new contracts for Sam and Scott Davidson, while Ross Kavanagh also extended his stay with the club.
At the top, Duncan and his backroom staff have also confirmed that they will be staying, eager to extend the good work they have done at the club so far.
