ALLOA Rugby Club has announced a new kit sponsorship from a company local to the Wee County.
KK Physio and Pilates is managed by Kirsten Kerr, a former physiotherapist for Alloa RFC, and has further close ties to the club.
Kirsten’s brothers Steven and Stuart have both pulled on Alloa shirts and featured as players for the club, while her dad Andy is a past club president.
KK Physio has sponsored new strips for the girls team at Alloa Academy and has now provided warm suits for the senior squad.
Kirsten made an appearance before the Dunfermline game with Dale Foster, David Jess, Josh Holmes and Jack McLean who were well wrapped up in the new gear.
Meanwhile, Alloa RFC socks made an appearance by Grant Gilchrist during Edinburgh’s club appearance night.
The club posted on Facebook to thank the Scotland international, who wore the Alloa socks to thank the team he started at.
It said: “Grant started his rugby journey at Alloa, following in the footsteps of his father, Tommy, and other class family members.
“Grant has always championed Alloa – even at the pinnacle as Scotland captain.
“On behalf of the club, we would like to show our appreciation to Grant and congratulate him on a fantastic career so far.”
