HILLFOOTS Rams triumphed over Panmure 2nds over the weekend as they beat the hosts 29-12.
Numbers were bolstered by Arbroath RFC, who stepped in to provide players for both teams to ensure the game went ahead.
A standout performance came from winger Thibaut Klein, who outsprinted the Panmure defence early on to claim a five pointer.
Klein has been a highlight of the team so far in his debut season for the Rams, with this the second five pointer for him in as many games.
On the stroke of half-time, Jack McKinley flopped over the line for a try that sent Hillfoots into a strong lead.
Panmure tried their best to break lines, but excellent defending ensured that they didn’t get too many rewards for their efforts.
The Rams now have a week off before travelling to Dundee on December 2 to take part in this season’s Midlands Series Spirit of Rugby game, hosted by Stobswell RFC.
