A FORTH Valley man has been charged in connection with the death of a man in Falkirk this week.
Officers and emergency services were called to an address in Grahams Road at around 10.45am on Tuesday, February 23, following a report of concern for one of the occupants.
The man, 73-year-old Alastair Gray, was found with fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death and was due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court yesterday, February 24.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective inspector Robert Andrews, from Falkirk CID, said: “Our thoughts are with Alastair’s family and friends at this time and we have specialist officers supporting them.
“They have asked that their privacy be respected as they come to terms with what’s happened.
“We are satisfied that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.”
