A MAN has died following a crash involving a car and an e-bike in the Forth Valley last week.
Police Scotland said officers were called to the B822 one mile south of Kippen at around 3.25pm last Friday, January 22, to attend the incident.
The road traffic collision involved a car and an electrically assisted pedal cycle, commonly known as an e-bike.
In a social media statement, Forth Valley Police Division said: “Emergency services attended and the 88-year-old male cyclist was taken to the Forth Valley Royal Hospital by ambulance where he died a short time later.
“His family have been informed. The driver of the car was uninjured.
“The roadway was closed for collision investigation and reopened at 9.25pm.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the collision, and has not yet spoken to officers, should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 2073 of January 22.”
