NO DEATHS linked to coronavirus have occurred in Clackmannanshire for 17 weeks.
Data published by National Records of Scotland (NRS) on Wednesday, November 4, shows the last fatality connected to the virus locally was during the week beginning June 29.
In total, 48 deaths have been recorded in the Wee County where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
Of those 48 deaths, 35 occurred in care homes, 12 in hospital, and one at a home or other non-institutional setting.
In the Forth Valley area, the health board has recorded 252 deaths where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate. In Scotland overall, the figure was 4,649.
NRS’ data covers the period from December 30, 2019, to Sunday, November 1, 2020.
The data includes cases where ‘suspected’ or ‘probable’ Covid-19 appears on the death certificate, as well as cases where the individual who died was confirmed as having the virus.
