TWO women have been arrested after a man was found stabbed in Sauchie.
Police officers attended following reports of an injured man on Main Street at around 2.50am.
The 33-year-old man was taken to hospital by the emergency services, where enquiries have since revealed that he had been stabbed on Holton Crescent.
Two women, aged 44 and 53, have been arrested, with police continuing to carry out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.50am on Tuesday, 26 November, 2024, police received a report of a man found injured in Main Street, Sauchie.
"Emergency services attended and the 33-year-old man was taken to hospital. Enquiries revealed the man had been stabbed on Holton Crescent.
"Two women, aged 44 and 53, have been arrested and enquiries are ongoing."
The Scottish Ambulance Service attended and helped transport the victim to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
A spokesperson for SAS added: "We received a call at 03:00 to attend an incident on Main Street, Sauchie, Clackmannanshire.
"An ambulance and critical care paramedic were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.”
