OFFICERS at Forth Valley Police Division have shown their support for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

The campaign was kickstarted by Clackmannanshire Council on Monday, November 25, aiming to spark action to end violence against women and girls.

Clacks was chosen as the host local authority this year, compiling a range of events, workshops and seminars to help educate on the topic.

Forth Valley Police are one of the organisations who have pledged their commitment to ending gender-based violence.

Officers joined elected members and community representatives in Alloa Town Hall on Monday to sign the pledge sheet.
