THE developer behind a large-scale housing project in Sauchie has named a new business development manager.
Stephen Lynas has been appointed the role at Bracewell Stirling Consulting, who are behind the Branshill Road development.
He will now be allocated the Tillicoultry office to focus on, alongside teams in Inverness and Oban.
Stephen said: “This is an extremely exciting time to join Bracewell.
“Having worked with them as a client and contractor over the years, I’m aware of their well-earned reputation in the architectural sector.
“Invited to come on board by senior partners David Keith and Amanda MacRitchie, it’s a pleasure to join the business to help consolidate and build on their success.
“Across our three office locations, I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to enhance our work as we approach the firm’s centenary and beyond.”
The role Stephen steps into is a newly formed one, with him bringing 26 years of experience in architecture and construction to the business.
Bracewell were recently granted permission for the first two phases of their Sauchie masterplan project.
This will see up to 1000 new homes built on the Branshill Road site, with each phase needing to be approved individually by the Clackmannanshire Council planning committee.
The council initially rejected the plans due to impact on the education estate and lack of social housing.
A planning appeal decision was enforced, which granted the developers permission to go ahead with the development.
