A YELLOW weather warning is in place throughout the Wee County this weekend.
The Met Office has enforced the lowest alert on most of the United Kingdom as Storm Bert is set to hit the nation over the next few days.
For Clacks, the yellow weather warning provides notice for snow and ice, with commuters urged to travel ahead and keep safe.
The Met Office reads: “Wintry showers and icy patches are expected this evening and overnight, perhaps leading to some travel disruption.
“Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
“Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths. Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.”
Friday is set to be a calm but cold day for Alloa, with temperatures ranging from -1 to 3 degrees.
Wind speeds are very low at 4 miles per hour, but will ramp up to 20pmh on Saturday afternoon.
Saturday is expected to be warmer, with highs of 10 degrees but brings with it some rainfall which will carry through into Sunday.
The last day of the weekend is set to be the warmest, reaching up to 12 degrees with some rain.
Wind speeds on Sunday will reach as high as 29mph, however, with the Met Office weather warning expected to be lifted by Monday morning.
