ALLOA ATHLETIC won the Bell's Challenge Cup final on this day in November 1999.

A historic victory for the club, this was the first - and to date only - time the club has lifted the trophy, now known as the SPFL Trust Trophy.

The Wasps lifted the cup after winning on penalties following a 4-4 draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday, November 21, 1999.

To mark the 25th anniversary, the club have invited the cup winning squad back to the Recs to meet fans and receive a guard of honour.

Here are some pictures from the day 25 years ago.
