A charity is encouraging people to take part in a virtual festive challenge.
Maggie’s Forth Valley, which provides free practical and emotional support for people living with cancer, has announced its new virtual festive challenge, the Jingle Jog.
The charity is asking people to dress up in their best festive outfits and walk or jog 5km, 10km, or 15km from December 1 to December 31.
Cristina Pouso, centre fundraising manager at Maggie’s Forth Valley, said: "We’re super excited to introduce a new festive tradition here at Maggie’s Forth Valley.
"This year, we’re swapping our usual Elf Family Fun Run for the Jingle Jog!
"It’s a fresh way to celebrate the festive season, and we can’t wait for you to join us."
Participants can choose to complete the distance in one go or spread it out over the course of December.
The charity said that the money raised will make a 'significant impact' on the lives of those living with cancer and their loved ones.
It is free to sign up and there are no minimum or maximum targets.
To sign up you can visit the Enthuse website and register.
More than 1,900 people are diagnosed with cancer in Forth Valley each year.
Many of these people will face tough questions, extensive treatment, and difficult emotions that can range from anxiety to loneliness and isolation.
