POLICE are cracking down on vehicles parking illegally outside Wee County primary schools.
Instances of cars being parked illegally or dangerously outside Clackmannan Primary School continue to be an issue.
Officers out on patrol issued fines to a number of vehicles outside the primary school, calling on drivers to be more considerate when parking.
PC Ritchie, Clackmannan community police officer, said: “This type of selfish road use endangers all of the children trying to get to school safely.
“Not only does it endanger the children you are trying to drop off, but also teaches them a bad example when it comes to good decision making.
“Fixed penalty notices were issued to the offending vehicles.”
Drivers parking illegally outside the primary school has been an issue all year round, with police issuing a warning back in February.
