WATER supplies in Dollar will gradually return to normal following completion of essential maintenance.
Scottish Water carried out urgent work on the morning of Wednesday, November 13, which caused loss of water supply and low pressure.
The work has now been completed, but the governing body is advising that residents may experience discolouration as the water supply returns to normal.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: "Essential maintenance being carried out in Dollar FK14 has been completed.
"Water supplies will gradually return to normal for customers.
"If you experience brown water, we advice you to run your cold water kitchen tap at a reduced pressure until this turns clear.
"Do not run any other taps or use any water appliances while doing so and follow the same process with any other taps affected once the water is clear from your cold-water kitchen tap.
"We would like to thank you for patience and understanding during these essential works."
