MEMBERS are being sought to join the Clackmannanshire Choral Society as they prepare for the festive period.

The club have put out an appeal for more members to join the choir, who sing a mixture of traditional choral music alongside more modern pieces.

The group are looking for new faces to join, with no audition required to take part in the Wee County’s biggest choir group.

Kit Mitchell, music director for the club, said: “Choral singing is my passion.

“I believe that everyone can contribute to, learn from and be uplifted by the art of singing in a choir, and discover for themselves that harmony singing is greater than the sum of its parts.

“Please come and join us. You will receive a warm welcome and have a fun and rewarding experience.”

The group rehearse on Monday nights from 7pm-9pm at Tillicoultry Parish Hall behind the church.
