A TILLICOULTRY man was found to have an offensive weapon and a stash of drugs when he was searched by police.
Robert Jackson, 25, of Westbourne Avenue, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on January 12 at his home, he was unlawfully in possession of an offensive weapon, a baton.
He was also in possession of cocaine.
Depute fiscal Sean Iles said police were called to the scene after reports of male brandishing an extendable police-style baton.

When they arrived, the officers searched Jackson and found the baton down his trouser leg. They also found the drugs worth around £240.
“It’s my cocaine,” he told police.
Jackson claimed he had been assaulted and went to the shed to retrieve the baton.
Sheriff Neil Bowie granted forfeiture of the baton.
He also imposed a community payback order with 180 hours of unpaid work and a year’s supervision.
The sheriff warned Jackson: “If you conduct yourself in this way again, you’ll be heading for a custodial sentence.”
