A TULLIBODY man drove when intoxicated and failed to stop after hitting a parked car.
Steven Muirhead also helped himself to his mum’s money by using her bank card.
Muirhead, 41, of Hareburn Road, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court for sentencing.
He admitted that on April 11 2021, at High Street, Tillicoultry, he failed to stop and provide his details after colliding with a parked car.
He also failed to report the accident to the police.
On the same day at Pitfairn Road, Fishcross and elsewhere, he drove a car when unfit to do so, through drink or drugs.
He also stole money on various occasions between April 6 and 10 by using his mum’s bank card at ATMs in Alloa and Tullibody.
Sheriff Neil Bowie banned Muirhead from driving for five years and until he passes the extended test.
He was also put on a six-month restriction of liberty order.
For the thefts, he was put on a community payback order with 200 hours of unpaid work and a year’s supervision.
