A NEW Turkish barber has opened in Tillicoultry, offering bespoke haircuts and full hot shaves.
Ochil Turkish Barbers, located on High Street, has been launched by Akeel Ismail, also known as Ekey.
Ekey opened the store last month and looks to bring a decade of experience in barbering to the Wee County.
He said: “We do every style, an all-round barber service with hot towels, a warm and friendly service for everyone.
“We’ve been open for two weeks, it’s going well, I get a lot of friendly customers and some have already been back again.”
Ekey hails from south-east Turkey and learned his trade from his big brother. He hopes to offer quality haircuts for good-value prices.

Ochil Turkish Barbers has been given a boost as Ekey was visited by Brian Leishman, MP for Alloa and Grangemouth.
Mr Leishman visited Clackmannanshire’s latest barbers for a head shave before returning to Westminster.
He added: “I was keen to show my support for this new business in Tillicoultry and wish Ekey, who provided an excellent and friendly service, well in his venture.
“Businesses such as Ochil Turkish Barbers are vital for town centres with communities working together to create better places to live, work and visit.
“Localism and support for our high street businesses play a key role in the creation of sustainable communities and I hope people in Tillicoultry will support this new venture.”
