A LOCAL artisan is set to open her new store in Alloa to sell handcrafted jewellery, gifts, and crystals.
Kerri-Lee, the owner of Three Gem Sisters, opens her doors on October 17 at her new location at Primrose Street.
This boutique silver and goldsmith business provides intricately handcrafted jewellery, including bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings.
Kerri-Lee adds personality and soul to each and every piece she crafts, making them perfectly unique gifts to treat yourself to or give to a special someone.
When asked about her craft, Kerri-Lee said: “I make jewellery using various methods, with one of my favourites being lost wax casting.
"I take natural items like pinecones or leaves found during walks with my girls in Clackmannan Woods, burn them out, and cast them into solid silver or gold.
“Every piece is truly one-of-a-kind. I also offer jewellery remodelling services, allowing sentimental items to be transformed into modern pieces that can be worn and cherished.”
The mother-of-three completed her studies in jewellery manufacturing last year, balancing her studies and her growing business while caring for her family. The business name, Three Gem Sisters, is a tribute for Kerri-Lee's three young daughters, whom she finds constant inspiration in.
As well as selling her own works in the store, Kerri-Lee will stock various pieces from other jewellers and brands to support local businesses by giving them a platform to display their work to the community.
Three Gem Sisters have held stalls at several locations across the country, including the Sterling Mills Market Street and the Alloa First Friday Market.
Kerri-Lee currently has an online store with limited edition jewellery sets and pieces which you can find on threegemsisters.sumupstore.com. Here, she also sells some truly magical and unique cuts of crystals.
In the future, Kerri-Lee hopes to expand the crystal-side of her business by offering crystal healing and Reiki courses while growing her jewellery lines.
Three Gem Sisters will be adding a brand-new welding service in her store, where customers can order welded “forever” bracelets and necklaces.
In 2023, Kerri-Lee was awarded the Highly Commended place by the Scottish Gemmological Association for a gem-setting competition where she set more than 350 gemstones into one single necklace.
Alongside her growing collection of achievements, Kerri-Lee has been shortlisted for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards where she made it to the final four. The awards take place in Mayfair, London, on November 18
The Three Gem Sisters store will open on October 17 from 10am to 5:30pm on 22 Primrose Street.
