A MAN living in London was caught driving near Alloa with thousands of cigarettes which carried no health warning.
There was also £10,000 in cash in the vehicle.
Lawi Rashid, 28, of Hanbury Street, London, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court with a translator.
He admitted that on September 28 last year on the A907 Gartarry to Alloa road, he supplied or intended to supply 10,000 cigarettes with no statutory health warning on any of the items.

He was also in possession of tobacco products, namely 500 packets of cigarettes, which did not carry a UK duty stamp.
Sheriff Neil Bowie fined Rashid £640.
He also granted a confiscation order for the £10,000 seized.
