FIFTEEN people in Forth Valley have been arrested as part of a specialist police operation into violent and sexual offending.
Detectives across the Clackmannanshire, Stirling and Falkirk areas carried out a targeted operation.
Running from Monday, September 16 until Saturday, October 5, the operation resulted in 15 arrests, with nine men charged in connection with violent and sexual offences.

The nine have been released pending further enquiries, with police also carrying out welfare visits to those who are most vulnerable in Forth Valley.
Detective inspector Forbes Wilson, of Forth Valley Public Division Protection Unit, said: “Tackling violent and sexual crime is very much a priority for Police Scotland.
“No one should live in fear of physical harm. We work closely within Forth Valley to support victim and we want to continue to encourage victims to come forward.”
“Anyone with any concerns should contact Police Scotland on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
