TWO new 'family hubs' are set to open in Clackmannanshire.

The hubs, part of NHS Forth Valley's Family Support Collaborative, will offer a community-based approach to accessing services and support.

They will operate on a free, drop-in basis, allowing families, parents, carers, and young people to receive advice, guidance, and immediate support without needing a referral.

Various services and supports, including Barnardos, Action for Children, Homestart, and employment support, have already pledged their commitment to the hubs.

A third hub is expected to open before December.

A spokesperson stated: "We want to create spaces that have a no wrong door approach, if you are looking for advice or support with any matters that relate to a family we want to be able to help and support at the first point of contact."

The hubs have been developed with input from the community and are intended to supplement, not replace, existing family support services.

They aim to provide an easier way for people to access support and advice before reaching the level of crisis interventions.

The first hub will open at the Blue House in Tullibody on October 11, from 9.30am to 11.30am.

The event is drop-in, with no need to book.
