AN ALLOA resident was left “completely shaken” as a nearby property exploded last night.
The local, who wished to remain anonymous, exclusively spoke with the Advertiser this morning after a property on Kellie Place was rocked by a blast and then went up in flames.
One man has been confirmed to have died while two other men and a woman were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The neighbour said: “We were sitting having our Sunday roast as we normally do and we had music on loudly.

“There was nothing unusual going on and then all of a sudden we heard a noise that sounded like a massive door slamming.
“My daughter ran downstairs and told us she had seen a house explode from her window. She was screaming and shaking.
“We all ran upstairs and saw the house collapse.”
Emergency services attended the scene at around 6pm on Sunday evening, working to contain a resulting fire and clear debris.
The first responders confirmed a man was pronounced dead at the scene, with the rest of the street cleared as a safety precaution.
The resident explained that her electricity went out for an hour around the time of the blast.
“It was horrible,” she went on. “We’ve all been completely shaken by it. We saw the paramedics covered in soot near the building.
“We all felt and heard the blast as it happened. Our electricity went off around the whole street for around an hour.”
Scottish Fire and Rescue Services returned to the property on Monday afternoon to continue working near the debris.
