TWO men and a woman were taken to hospital after an explosion rocked a house in Alloa.
Emergency services responded to reports of a blast in a house at Kellie Place on Sunday evening at 6pm.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene as first responders battled to contain a fire and search for anyone trapped inside.
Formal identification on the victim has yet to take place.
Now, Police have published an update on two men and a woman who were treated for injuries.
A 72-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were all taken to Forth Valley Hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
Chief Inspector Kat Thompson said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and we continue to work with partner agencies.
"Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died and everyone affected in the local community.
"We would like to thank the local community for their co-operation and support and officers remain the area."
Police Scotland closed off a number of roads at the time, which have now reopened with the exception of Kellie Place, which remains closed.
The remaining Kellie Street properties were evacuated as a safety precaution, with a rest centre set up at Alloa Town Hall.
This has now closed. Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
