AN ALLOA man has been warned he could soon be heading to jail after he ignored an unpaid work order.
As a result, Mark Sinclair, 30, of Argyll Street, was back in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on July 3 in Argyll Street he shouted, swore and acted in an aggressive manner whilst holding a metal chain.
A neighbour of Sinclair had heard shouting from outside at around 7pm.
He checked his security camera and saw Sinclair standing outside holding a metal chain and shouting, “Fat b******”, which led to the police being called.
He also breached a non-harassment order by grabbing his ex-partner in an Alloa bar having been told not to approach her.
Sinclair had been sentenced for these offences but breached his unpaid work order.
Defence solicitor Charlotte Watt said the non-compliance had been “a blip”.
However, Sheriff Neil Bowie told Sinclair: “Broadly speaking, this order has been totally ignored by you.”
“I’ve heard various explanations but none of that is acceptable.”
He deferred sentencing on the breach of the order until October 24.
One of the reasons put forward for his non-compliance was he had been focused on his paid employment.
The sheriff warned Sinclair: “If you end up in prison you won’t have your paid employment.”
