A PENSIONER is in critical condition after being involved in a serious crash near Dollar.
A red Ford Fiesta and a white DAF lorry were involved in the collision, which took place on Thursday, September 19 at around 5pm.
Emergency services attended the scene on the A977 near Blairingone, taking the 85-year-old Fiesta driver to the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh, where he remains in critical condition.
The driver of the lorry was not injured, with the road closed and reopening at around 11.50pm.
Road policing officers are appealing for information and have opened enquiries into the incident, calling for anyone with footage of the accident.
Inspector Andrew Thomson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or believes they saw either of the vehicles involved beforehand to please get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone with dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation to contact us.”
