A PASSENGER took ill on a ScotRail service late last night, causing disruptions on the Alloa line.
Services between Glasgow Queen Street and Alloa were subject to delays and alterations after a commuter took unwell at Croy.
The incident took place at 9.30pm on Thursday, September 19, with disruptions lasting for an hour after.
Phil Campbell, customer operations director for ScotRail, said: “Some ScotRail services were disrupted last night following a passenger falling ill on board a train at Croy.
“Nobody likes to be sitting in a delayed train, but on this occasion, I hope customers will understand.
“If anyone was delayed by 30 minutes or more, they are entitled to compensation through our Delay Repay Guarantee.”
The passenger was taken into the care of paramedics, with services returning to normal by 10.30pm.
