A FORMER Wee County GP and his loving wife last week celebrated six decades of marriage.
Mr Robert and Mrs Margo Webster marked the diamond wedding anniversary on Thursday, September 12, with a party at Hillview Court Nursing Home.
There was plenty of bubbly on the big day as a dozen friends joined the couple, who tied the knot at St Andrew’s Church in Blairgowrie 60 years ago.
Many in and around Alloa and Sauchie will be familiar with Mr Webster, who served as a doctor at the old Hallpark health centre for numerous years and is known to most as Bob.
Nowadays, Margo, neé McAndrew, is an avid bridge player and still enjoys some golf as well.

The couple have one son in Ian and celebrated with a buffet at the nursing home, where Bob is a resident.
There was plenty of cake and champagne as friends toasted the couple along with Clackmannanshire Deputy Lord Lieutenant Tim Allan CBE and Deputy Provost Jane McTaggart, who paid a visit on the day.
The Websters also received a card from the King while staff at the nursing home made sure the party was all set up with balloons, old photos, food and drinks.
Audrey Love, wellbeing co-ordinator at Hillview Court, spoke of a “lovely” couple who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon buffet in the company of their many friends.
