AN ALLOA pub is raising a pint for the last call of this summer by slashing prices to £2 on selected lagers.
The Old Brewery is among Greene King pubs putting on an end-of-summer offer with reduced prices for certain pints.
Available all day, every day, from September 4 to September 18, pints of Tennent’s lager at the pub on East Vennel cost only £2 in what the chain said is a “golden opportunity to catch up with friends and family”.
The clue is in the name, the Alloa pub building dates back to the 19th century and was formerly the Maclay’s Thistle Brewery.
As reported in 2018, the popular pub re-opened after receiving a much-needed makeover, having opened 12 years prior.
The Old Brewery is open until 11pm most nights, 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

As part of the £2 pint promotion, Greene King pubs have individually chosen one lager to be included in the offer.
