AN ALLOA man who struggled violently with police and grabbed an officer by the neck has been fined.
John Robertson, 29, of Kellie Place, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court for sentencing.
He admitted that on February 17 at Hillside Terrace, Alloa, he resisted police officers, struggled violently with them and seized a constable by the neck.
The court heard Robertson is unemployed and is already on a restriction of liberty order for other matters.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland imposed a fine of £470.
