THE annual Muckhart flower show is set to go ahead this weekend, showcasing the very best entries in a range of categories.
This will be the 136th Village Show, taking place in the Coronation Hall in Muckhart from 2pm this Saturday, August 24.
Organised by the Muckhart Horticultural Society, the show will feature a range of enterable categories this year - including, but not limited to, baking, floral art, fruit and veg, painting and a kids section.
Entertainment will be provided alongside refreshments including tea, coffee and a raffle for visitors to take part in.
For anyone wishing to submit entries, these can be placed any time before 9.30am at the latest by dropping it off at the Coronation Hall.
Anyone who cannot submit an entry on Saturday morning can drop their submission off at the hall on Friday evening, with volunteers manning the station from 7pm to 9pm.
A Facebook group Muckhart Gets Together will provide any further details and information anyone has.
The show will start at 2pm and the prize giving will be held at 2.15pm.
