AN ALLOA man will be sentenced next month for an assault in the town's Wetherspoons.
The incident occurred in The Bobbing John with the culprit being 20-year-old Kevin Conway, of Engelen Drive, Alloa.
He appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court and admitted that on February 15, at the pub in Drysdale Street, he assaulted a male by punching him on the head.
Sheriff Mark O'Hanlon called for reports and Conway will be sentenced on September 5.
The accused was already on a community payback order, the court heard.
