WEE COUNTY entrepreneurs are being encouraged to seize opportunities around them during Forth Valley Business Week 2024.
The week, commencing on Monday, September 16, will feature several events taking place in Clacks, Stirling and Falkirk.
Running until Friday, September 20, these events will explore how the public, private and third sectors can get the best possible outcomes from a rapidly changing national environment.
The week will kick off with a Change Maker Summit event in Falkirk on the Monday, before further events happening in Clacks.
Forth Valley Business Week is organised by Ceteris, who will host the opener, asking businesses how the area can distinguish itself from the big cities and thrive.
Josie Saunders, CEO of Ceteris, said: “The Forth Valley faces an exciting challenge.
“With high levels of government investment driving new opportunities, there are huge potential rewards if the business community, public and third sectors work together to adapt to and embrace the changes coming our way.
“Forth Valley Business Week 2024 aims to be a rallying call to businesses large and small from across the area, as well as to policy makers, to seize these opportunities.
“Our exciting programme of events for 2024 is both practical and ambitious and we can’t wait to get started in September.”
For the business community, events will focus on opportunities around them despite the radical change occurring on a political level.
Workshops, seminars and round table events will explore the huge potential for businesses to innovate and continue to grow.
These include planning in a time of political change, how to meet ongoing challenges of climate change, how to embrace the rapid advances in technology and how to instigate change.
Throughout the week, smaller events will be held in the Business Gateway office in Alloa, located on Whins Road.
Further events will also be held at the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce and at the University of Stirling Scotland’s International Environment Centre.
Forth Valley Business Week 2024 is sponsored by construction firm Robertson and Techscaler, the tech startup accelerator run by Codebase and funded by the Scottish Government.
