AN ALLOA woman suffered months of abuse at the hands of her former partner.
The culprit was 44-year-old Martin McCormick, who has appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court.
McCormick, of Torogay Street, Glasgow, admitted that between July 1, last year, and February 5, at Inglewood Road, Alloa, he engaged in an abusive course of conduct towards his ex-partner.
On an occasion between October 1-31, he attended at her home uninvited, shouted, swore, acted aggressively and spat on the windows.
On December 16, he again attended uninvited, shouted, swore, acted aggressively, referred to her in derogatory terms and repeatedly knocked on her door.
Then, on February 5, he attended uninvited, entered the property shouted at her, said he was recording her on his phone and would post it on social media.
The court was told the couple had been in a relationship which lasted around eight years.
Sheriff Neil Bowie deferred sentencing until August 15, for McCormick to be assessed for the Caledonian Programme for domestic offenders.
