AN INDEPENDENT estate agents’ is celebrating a quarter of a century of business in and around the Wee County.
Alloa-based County Estates is marking its 25th anniversary, having been founded by Ann-Marie Malley in 1999.
The business has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected agencies in the area.
It all started when Dorothy Paterson, a good friend of Ann-Marie, was thrilled with the exceptional service she received during the sale of her home and suggested they start an estate agency together.
County Estates was then born, aptly named to reflect its Wee County roots.
The business initially offered both sales and rental services but streamlined its focus 15 years ago when Ann-Marie sold the rental side.
The company has since exclusively concentrated on property sales, driven by her passion for real estate and her love of helping people navigate the process of selling a home.
Nowadays the business operates with a dedicated team of five with Ann-Marie at the helm, supported by sales manager Maureen Kinsella.

She reckons the company’s longevity and success is down to an unwavering commitment to achieving the best prices for clients as quickly as possible, and always adhering to the highest standards.
County Estates maintains strong relations with solicitors and surveyors in the area, working closely with an independent mortgage advisor, and takes a personal yet professional approach.
Looking ahead, Ann-Marie loves doing the job and plans to continue providing an excellent service in a bid to ensure County Estates will be remembered as a trustworthy company.
