A CLACKS nail tech has scooped up yet another award after launching her business just four years ago.
Elle Adams, who runs Sparkle by Elle, has been named Nail Bar of the Year for the central region in Scotland.
This follows on from last year when Elle was voted second best nail tech throughout the whole of Scotland, with the latest accolade a sign the business is still going strongly.
Speaking to the Advertiser, Elle said: “I am so thankful to have won this award, this is now my fourth award.
“I only started the business post-lockdown in 2020, so to have got this far, and to be recognised for my hard work means the world.
“I wouldn't have got this far without the support of the clients who choose to use my services.
“I am celebrating with my clients by hosting a prosecco night to celebrate and thank them for their support along the way. Without them none of this would be possible.”
Elle opened her business during the Covid lockdown and has expanded to a salon in her back garden.
Sparkle by Elle has been voted second best nail tech two years in a row and was also voted 5* beauty salon for the central region last year.
She celebrated by taking her friend Victoria to the awards, hosted by Creative Oceanic, in Glasgow.
“I took my client now friend Victoria with me to the awards,” she added. “She made it so special with little touches.
“We had an amazing night from start to finish. We had such a good night I actually forgot I was up for an award, until they called my name Victoria managed to get it on video.
“It’s such a precious memory to have.”
