A NEW Clacks takeaway has raised over £1000 for local good causes.
Papa’s Fish & Chips, which is where Nico’s Fish Bar used to be on Clackmannan’s main street, opened its doors on Sunday (July 7).
Over the course of the two hours it was operating, all proceeds made from the evening were collected and will be given to a good local cause.
The takeaway raised £1264, and the business also did a raffle with vouchers for the shop and nail salon vouchers.

Raj Singh Thandi of Papa’s previously told the Advertiser that it was a way for the business "to show the community we can do some good and that we do care about the community.”
The business is also taking suggestions of good causes for the money to go to, and they may even be able to support multiple charities and groups.
“It went very well, the queue was very big too! Everyone was happy.” Raj added.
Papa’s sells a range of food, including burgers, nuggets, fish and chips, and pizzas.
