FAMILIES are being invited to a fun event at a rejuvenated Alloa park this July.

The Wimpy Park Community Group is set to host its Family Fun Day at is namesake park next Saturday, July 20.

The event, starting at 12noon, will see funfair rides, inflatables, face painters, furry and creepy animals, stalls and an opportunity to enjoy the play areas.

Mark Mitchell, vice chairperson of the group, said: “We are hoping to once again fill the park for a family fun day in the Wimpy Park in Alloa.

“This time it will be bigger than ever with inflatables, face painters, small fun rides, fun games, local info stalls from around our community and of course our new fantastic play areas and gardens.

Entry has been set at £2 per person and includes everything except food stalls.

Funds raised will go back into the park towards future events.

Those heading along are being asked by Mark to “bring some sunshine” with the event set to finish at 4pm on the day.
