A DRUG-DRIVER was almost 16 times over the limit for cocaine in Alva on Hogmanay.
Stefan Henninger, 43, of Carseview, Tullibody, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court for sentencing.
He admitted that on December 31 last year, at West Stirling Street, Alva, he drove a car when unfit through drink or drugs.
He drove when over the limit for drugs. His level of benzoylecgonine was not less than 796 microgrammes per litre of blood, the limit being 50 microgrammes.
He also took and drove the car without the owner’s consent.
Sheriff Neil Bowie told Henninger: “You had taken a significant quantity of cocaine and given your state of intoxication you could have killed somebody.
“It was absolutely crazy to be driving in the condition you were in.”
