A MAN has been arrested and charged after petrol was poured outside a house in Alva.
The incident, which took place on Thursday, June 27, follows a string of incidents at the town’s George Street.
Police Scotland told the Advertiser that a 38-year-old man is set to appear in court.

A spokesperson said: “At around 3.45pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024, we received a report of petrol being poured outside an address on George Street in Alva.
“Officers attended and a 38-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“He’s due to appear in court at a later date.”
