A MAN has been jailed for shoplifting in Alloa.
Alexander Coyle, of no fixed abode, appeared by video-link from prison at Alloa Sheriff Court for sentencing.
The 37-year-old admitted that on May 4 at Poundland, Shillinghill, he stole cleaning items valued at £90.
Then on May 12 at Aldi, Whins Road, he stole food items worth £40.
Depute fiscal Sarah Smith said none of the stolen goods were recovered.
Sheriff Neil Bowie noted Coyle’s record of previous offences and jailed him for four months.
