A TILLICOULTRY man was conned out of £3,000 in a bogus builder scam.
The culprit was 25-year-old Graham Dalton, of Brankholm Brae, Hamilton, who has appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between January 26 and August 19, 2021, at Fir Park, Tillicoultry, he pretended to a man living there that he would carry out building work for him, induced him to pay money into an account and obtained £3,000 by fraud.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland deferred sentencing until July 11.
