KINCARDINE’S gala week got off to a flying start with their pet show fundraiser event.
Dozens of dog owners arrived in the town to take part in the competition, with Bella the miniature dachshund winning best in show.
Bella took home the Gemma Kyle Memorial Shield to celebrate their big win.
Also held on the day were a range of fun events for the kids, including races and tug of war.
The gala organisers put up a post on the Kincardine Gala Facebook page, thanking the attendees for their support and congratulating all of the winners.
They said: “What a fantastic start to Gala week yesterday!
“Well done to all of our pet show winners and special mention to our best in show and winner of the Gemma Kyle Memorial Shield – Bella the miniature dachshund.
“Well done to all of our race winners and tug of war winners too, you were all great sports.
“Thank you all for coming out to support the Gala and make it a great day.”
Kincardine Gala Day will be held this Saturday, June 15.
